Terms & Conditions

By entering this giveaway, you accept and agree to the following terms and conditions which will govern the giveaway. Furthermore, you verify that you are unaware of any reason legally prohibiting you from entering this giveaway and, if the giveaway requires the submission of photographs, artwork or images of pets and people, or of anything else that requires consent, that you have the necessary consent and authority to do so, if required. Any entrant who contravenes these rules may be disqualified from the giveaway. The Promoters reserve the right to cancel, modify or amend the giveaway and the terms & conditions at any time if deemed necessary in their own opinion or if circumstances arise outside of their control.

Participation 

1. This giveaway is only open to legal residents of the Republic of South Africa aged eighteen years or over.
2. One entry will be selected from the database of entrants. This giveaway will start 19 July and run until 9 August. The winner will be contacted first via email by the Promoter.
3. Should the winner not respond to email, and/or phone calls within 48 hours, a new winner will be selected.
4. The winner will be announced on our social platforms once they have accepted the prize and the giveaway has concluded.

Entries

1. It is an optional condition of entry that participants agree to receive future correspondence from the Promoter by email and/or SMS or to opt-out from future promotional communications not related to this giveaway. Anyone who has opted in can unsubscribe from these communications at any time by contacting the Promoter or following the unsubscribe link or instructions on the future communication.
2. Entries are quotes generated & then emailed to a valid email address. Entries that are unintelligible or incomplete will be deemed invalid. No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged in transmission. Entries reflected on the Promoter’s records will be treated as the only validation source and will be the only evidence of successful entries.

Prizes

1. Any prizes, are not transferable, negotiable or redeemable for cash.
2. The Promoter may request you supply photographs to be posted for their marketing purposes.
3. Participants in the giveaway understand and agree that in order to offer the giveaway; the Promoter must collect and use personal information about participants.
4. Cover may be subject to additional terms and conditions not mentioned hereunder, but in accordance with MediPet and/or relevant South African legislation.
5. The Promoters reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable for any unforeseen reason.

General rules

1. Participants in this giveaway hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless the Promoter and their successors, employees, officers, suppliers, contractors, agents, consultants, directors and shareholders from and against any losses, claims, proceedings, actions, damages, liability for harm, injury or death, demands, expenses or any costs howsoever arising out of their participation in this giveaway or their use of the prizes, and/or any person with whom they share that prize.
2. The judges’ decision is final.
3. The laws of the Republic of South Africa govern this giveaway.
4. The winner must reside in South Africa.
