Are Rescue, Re-homed, Or Adopted French Bulldogs Welcome?
Absolutely! At MediPet, we proudly support many shelters & pet rescue organisations in South Africa. Something to note for rescued pets on joining Essential or Ultimate360 plans. If your Frenchie was rescued or adopted in the last 6 months, & is over 18 months old, & you have no vet history, you will have a temporary limit of R3 000 for the first 6 months after joining. (This won’t apply to accident claims).
Can I Still Join MediPet If My French Bulldog’s Vaccinations Are Not Up To Date?
Yes, you can still apply, but if your French bulldog’s vaccinations are not kept up-to-date according to your vet’s vaccination protocol, any vaccinable diseases & related complications will be excluded from cover. Keeping your French bulldog’s vaccinations current is key for their health.
